Hi there, I’m David (he/him)

I am a registered Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I am also a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher.
I am humbled to work with adults experiencing trauma, LGBTQ+ related challenges, OCD, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and sexual health challenges, including compulsive sexual behaviours, sexual trauma, and erectile/ejaculation difficulties. Regardless of what led you here, many of my clients seek counselling as a result of being fed up with the way things are.
Together we will work to uncover why you feel the way you do, develop tangible strategies to work with rather than against your emotions, and spend time expressing them in ways that will work for you long term.
I hold a Master of Counselling degree from the University of Calgary. I am currently in the final year of my Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Adler University.
I identify within the LGBTQ+ community and welcome diverse clients of all ages, cultures, genders, sexual orientations and abilities.
In my spare time, I am an avid lover of the outdoors, movies, books, boardgames, and good conversations with family and friends. I also love discovering new cafes and restaurants.
I acknowledge the territory I live and work on as the traditional territories of the Lkwungen (Lekwungen) Peoples. I acknowledge and thank the Lkwungen People, also known as the
Songhees First Nation community for their continued stewardship, care, and leadership on these lands.

Hello, I'm Amandine (she/her)
Intern Counsellor

***Starting September 2026, but waitlist is open***
Wherever you find yourself today, you are welcome here.
Each of us has a story shaped by what we’ve experienced in life. Our experiences influence how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. As an intern counsellor, my goal is to offer a space where your story can be heard without judgment, creating room for reflection, deepening self-understanding, and recognizing your strengths as we move toward meaningful growth together.
In our work together, I see you as the expert on your life. My approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, and I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy, tailoring my approach to fit your needs and goals.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and am currently completing the practicum portion of my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University under supervision. Throughout my nursing career, I have had the privilege of supporting clients across the lifespan, from welcoming newborns into the world to caring for individuals at the end of their life. I have worked with clients through pregnancy and postpartum challenges, navigating parenthood, perinatal loss, grief, unexpected health diagnoses, and major life transitions. Whether you are experiencing burnout, navigating a life transition, working through life’s challenges, or looking for a space to better understand yourself, I would be honoured to work with you.
I offer counselling in both English and French.
In my spare time, I enjoy being outside in the sunshine. Bike rides, time by the water, a good cup of coffee, and sharing meals with family and friends are some of my favourite ways to spend a day.
If this resonates with you, I’d be happy to connect and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
